Tips to boost volume and improve sound quality on your Android phone 2016

How to boost volume and improve sound quality on your Android phone
Everyone wants great, high-quality sound from their smartphone while playing and enjoying the sound of music coming from their devices. Usually people want a sound that has a deep bass, a clear treble, a rich middle range, a sound quality that is audible enough, sound quality that does not deteriorate when you crank up the volume, and you certainly don’t want smoke to come out of the speakers!)
However, not all smartphones have the speaker quality or volume levels like the Boom J8, Boom J7 and Boom J5 to deliver all these features due to some certain factors like poor speaker placement and low quality speakers etc.

The best tips to help you improve sound quality and increase volume on yourAndroid phone.

1. Check your phone settings for sound enhancement option
Most smartphone comes with built-in sound enhancement option that could optimize your Android audio experience when activated, adding better sound quality or effects to your phone.
For HTC phones just toggle BoomSound under phone settings, sometimes it’s beat audio for M series.
Xperia devices allows you use the ClearAudio setting and has an equalizer. You can also get to it through the settings.
Then for Samsung devices, you need to plug in whichever audio device you want to use (if you’re using one). Then, hop into your Settings and tap Sound. From there hit Audio settings. You should have a series of options to enhance your audio experience.
2. Download a better music player app
If your device did not have the built-in sound enhancement settings, then you now have the option of replacing the stock music player app with one that includes more audio control. We recommend Poweramp n7player, andEqualizer+. They are jam-packed with audio tweaks, presets, bass boost and many more options.
These apps are free but you’ll have to pay a couple of bucks to access all or it’s pro features but once you do you’ll never look back.
3. Get an EQ app(equalizer)
The default audio controls (equalizer) on most phones, include a basic EQ that only works with the default music app and provides no control over audio not played through the music player.
So, to fix this hit the Play Store and get yourself a decent EQ. These are two best EQ app to download Music Volume EQ and Bass Booster

4. Use quality headphones
The simple fact is that most smartphone speakers are simply not good enough to get decent sound quality out of, even with all these music app or EQ. This is where a decent pair of headphones can help (some audio settings in your phone won’t even work without headphones plugged in).
So it’s time for you to get yourself a quality headphones not just any type but brand and see how much of a difference a serious set of headphones can make to your smartphone audio.
5. Boost your speaker volume
There are phones that generally have low speaker volume that after reaching their max volume, it still can’t be loud enough. If you are rooted, there are plenty of app options out there that can bypass the max volume of the Android system with a few simple tweaks. Check out our post on how to root any Android for more details.
6. Using AudioFX (Root Required)
AudioFX, has been on Android for quite sometime, but due to licensing issues, it has been exclusive to only a few manufacturers. But exclusivity is never permanent in the Android world, and thanks to the xda dev sorlaz, we now have a functioning port that can run on both KitKat and Lollipop.
To install AudioFX, you’ll need to download the appropriate ZIP for your device from above, then flash it through your custom recovery. After doing so, you’ll see an AudioFX app in the app drawer. You’ll notice the same equalizer settings that are available in all of our previous apps, but at the bottom are a few extra settings.
MaxxBass and MaxxTreble are self explanatory, so you can adjust those levels to your liking. However, MaxxSpace, which is only available through headphones, Bluetooth, and USB, adds a surround sound effect to your audio which can give you the feeling of listening to a live performance. To disable MaxxAudio, all you have to do is set the slider on the top of the app to Off.
7. Check if your case is blocking a speaker
At times we are the cause of the poor audio quality, because we normally buy protective case or cover, that block the speakers there by affecting the quality of the sound you get from the speakers. All those vibrations coming from inside your phone will be muffled by the additional layer of plastic or rubber that the manufacturer won’t have taken into account when designing its speaker system.
Not all case makers understand the subtleties of your device. Some cases block essential parts of the phone like the audio jack, microphone or speaker. Before you buy a case be sure that you check to see that it won’t block anything.
That’s all on how to improve the sound quality of your smartphone. I hope you like the post? Please help us share it on your social networks and you can also comment below if you have any question on the above tips.

Restore Whatsapp Messages/chats on any phone - 2016

Restore Whatsapp Messages/chats on any phone - 2016

If you install a fresh WhatsApp on your phone but noticed that all the sweet chats or messages you had with that babe or dude are all gone? I’m sure you would want to hit your head on the wall. But hey, don’t do that as this post hopes to guide you through the process of restoring all your WhatsApp messages on various smartphones and operating system.

Use the links below to download Gbwhatsapp

Most Android smartphone come with an SD card so this should be very simple to do. Open the app then tap the Menu icon then go to Settings>Chats and calls > Backup Chats. This will now create a backup on your SD card, which you can then swap into your new handset. Reinstall WhatsApp on your replacement device (with the

SD card inserted) and the app should spot your backup and automatically restore the chat history.

For your messages to remain intact even when you change your phone you must have kept them somewhere previous, perhaps by running a backup. On the iPhone there are different ways to run a backup , but the easiest is by using iCloud backup. To do this you’ll need to take your old handset and go to WhatsApp Settings> Chats> Chat Backup and then tap Backup Now.

So when the need to restore your messages arise, just turn on your new handset, reinstall WhatsApp, confirm your phone number (which has to be the same as the one used on your old phone) and you will be prompted to restore your chat history. Agree to this and your backup should be installed.

To prevent future losses it’s advisable to go back to settings and enable the Auto Backup feature now, so you’ll be good to go next time.

Just in case you are not too fortunate to have a device with SD card, don’t cry as you can still restore your conversations but you need a PC to do so or maybe a “File Manager” that can send a complete folder via Bluetooth or Xenda. The simple idea is to move the WhatsApp folder from your old phone to the new one and nothing more.

So, Attach the USB charging cord to the phone and then plug the other end into your PC. Windows should automatically install any

drivers you need, and then you can find the phone in the This PC section of File Explorer. Now look through the phone storage until you find the WhatsApp folder, then copy it onto your PC hard drive. Eject the phone, then connect your new handset and move the WhatsApp folder onto its internal storage. Eject the phone, reinstall WhatsApp, and when you confirm your number the backup should be recognized and you can restore it. With this done you should now have all your past conversations on your new Android phone.

How to Transfer All Your Files From Your Old Phone to Your New Phone

When you buy a new phone, next is getting to move all your files from your old phone to the new one. But moving to a new phone can be a pain, it consumes time, and most times frustrating. But with the right steps, some third-party apps, and perseverance, you should be able to overcome most of the misery that usually comes with prepping for a new device. Sure, it takes a little work, but what you’ll learn here will be very useful if you find yourself in such situation.

Transferring your stuff from your old phone to your new phone

Remember it’s always advisable keeping all your data backed up in case of any catastrophe hitting your phone.

How to transfer your stuff / files from the old phone onto a new one

A. Transferring your contacts
Your contacts are probably among the most important to you. Luckily the days of having to write them all down and then manually enter them in the new phone are long gone. Here are the best alternatives.
Transferring your contacts: Via SD card/Phone storage
Transferring Via SD card is pretty much easier if both your old and new phone have SD card slots, you can transfer contacts using a microSD card. Just open the contacts section >> menu >> manage contacts >> import/export contacts. Then on your old phone hit the import/export button. Then select export to storage or something along those lines.
After exporting, next is to remove and insert the SD card into the new phone, go to the address book and find import on the menu and follow the instructions from there to successfully import or transfer your contacts.

Transferring your stuff from your old phone to your new phone

Transferring contacts Via internal phone storage  method is almost the same as above, except instead of selecting microSD card as your export destination, you choose your internal memory. It’s a long process as it requires you to create a Vfc/VCard file before you can be able to export your contacts. So I prefer the Via SD Card method very straight forward!
▪Transferring your contacts: Via SIM card
This is an old fashioned method for transferring contacts – essentially copying all the relevant contacts to the SIM and then carrying them over.
The advantage of this is you can manually select which ones to take with you, but the downside is that most SIMs are limited to about 200 contacts.
Further, there’s the potential that your new phone won’t support the same size SIM card as your previous device. Most phones comes with either Micro or Macro SIM cards. – so this one’s probably a last resort.
B. Moving your old text messages
If you are still attached to your old text messages or got an important text messages you would want to keep, the best way to move them onto your new phone is by downloading SMS Backup and Restore, a free app that does exactly what you’d expect it to.
The messages are stored in .XML  format and can then be sent to your new smartphone over Bluetooth, or by email after backup from the old phone. You’ll also need to install the app on your new phone in order to restore your mess
Transferring your stuff from your old phone to your new phone

C. Transferring your media files (photos, musics, and videos)
You can transfer individual media files or albums from phone to phone via Bluetooth or using xender file transfer app. But if you have a large number of media files especially very high resolution images, HD songs and movies, then this will take a long time.
So, for faster transfer you should use a PC. Just connect the old phone to the PC with a USB cable, then copy the images folder, musics and videos folder onto the desktop and reverse the process for the new phone by pasting the folders back to the new phone.
D. Transferring apps and their data
Whenever you log in to your new phone with your Google account, all the apps you’ve already downloaded should appear automatically – although in Android 5.0 Lollipop you’ll be asked which ones you want to keep.
However, if you want the data to come across too (stuff like saved games, personalized settings and data, etc) then you’re best off using one of the apps listed below.
▪Restoring app data on your phone
If your using Android phone and its rooted then there is no better backup solution than Titanium Backup. Titanium Backup lets you back up absolutely everything on your phone. The complete backup can be restored at any time.
Backups can be performed without even closing the apps you’re currently using and they can be saved as flashable zips and you can install to your new phone via TWRP or CWM.
That’s all! Your phone should now be completely set up and feeling a little like the old one. Except faster and shinier and better looking. I hope you find the post useful and if you think we missed something out, let us know in the comments. FREEZING IDLE APPS - best alternative to app uninstal

Hi there,
Today I am going to Show you how to freeze some idle apps on background, I noticed that when running too many apps on background, my device tends to slow down in performance plus rapid battery drainage but when I freeze some of the idle background apps, my device speeds up, in essence, freezing of apps helps save battery and free up some ram space with out uninstalling.

I have a lot of apps on my phone but I don't want to uninstall it, in case of necessity so what can I do.
Good news with Tecno Camon C7 you can freeze your apps, and unfreeze it when you need of them.
Freezing of of apps means temporary removal of apps till the of needed but not permanent removal. But with freezing is like you keep it for future purpose because you can recover it without the use of internet.

With this picture I will show you how to freeze apps and unfreeze it, just follow me

FREEZE APPS - best alternative to app uninstal

Click on the Hi Manager and open it then go to the last item and click on App Management, it will open like this

A letter from T-Fans to Tecno

Hi Tecno,

I hope these greetings find you well.

We are proud to be associated with you. Being the leading Phone brand in Africa, we feel a sense of pride whenever we hook out our phones and use them.

Thank you for the fair-priced devices and also the HiOS. We have the best Cameras, best music players and the best specifications in the market.

However, in as much as we have these joys in our hearts, there are a few issues we would like to raise. If you have the concern and time, please listen.

Letter from t-fans to tecno

HiOS Updates
As a staunch follower of this Forum and other Social Media pages that you own, I have realized that people are having problems downloading and installing HiOS updates. Personally, my C9 would not download the updates and you said that we give you time to rectify.

I wonder how you could release an update without knowing if it would work with the target phone. People are still complaining all over the Forum over the same matter. Please release user-ready updates to reduce the agony and inconvenience.

We understand that the HiOS is still a new feature that is still undergoing testing. However, it has so many bugs that we wonder whether it was ready for consumption by the general public. The C9 and J8 have minimal bugs. For instance, mine kills the Facebook application without my consent. With other devices such as the L8 and C8, the bugs are so many. See for yourself in the Forum.

Please take your time to record the bugs and give us flawless OS. We are users but at this rate, we all feel like Beta Testers or developers.

New devices
The other concern that we have is that you release too many devices into the market. This is according to many users on Tecno Spot. I agree to the above because I had a C5. Before I could use it well, we had the C8. A few months later, the C9 was born. A few weeks later, we had the C7. At this rate, we are getting confused about which device to settle for.

Request: please allow time between the devices so we can fully enjoy them before the next one arrives. This will allow us time to enjoy them. Also, we will anxiously wait for the newer ones. Need I say that you risk saturating your market and losing value?

When you release the C9 King, everything was upgraded. Screen density, RAM, Processor, features, etc. However, you left out such a big feature which is taking away the reputation of the C9: Battery! We have a Tecno L8 which has minimal features but has a 5,000mAH battery. The C9 has a 3,000mAH one. It barely runs for 6 hours of internet or gaming.

What sense is there in having such a great device but always being afraid of using it because of the poor battery?

Similarly, the C8 freezes a lot upon installing the HiOS and tens of apps. Why upgrade a 1 GB RAM cellphone to Android 6 yet you know Android 6 requires at least 2GB of RAM?

Finally, I would like to ask about the C9. Mine is very genuine, but upon the use of internet or gaming even for 5 minutes, it heats up so badly. If you leave it to download stuff for 30 minutes, you cannot even touch the screen as it is extremely hot.

Does this only affect me?

Summarily, this is just a polite concern from us. This information is condensed from observations made in the forum. If you can, then listen to us. And do something. We are requesting for corrections to these issues rather than complaining and throwing tantrums.

We love being Tecno users.

Faithfully yours,

NB: Fellow fans, please freely agree or disagree to these claims. Also feel free to add any concerns that you may have towards improvement of our devices. We hope TECNO will listen to us.

How to Identify a fake Tecno phone

Sadly for us Tecno users, you and I know that our market has been filtered by fake vendors who are selling us clones (copies of phones). They look exactly like our phones but are very fake.
