Tips to boost volume and improve sound quality on your Android phone 2016

How to boost volume and improve sound quality on your Android phone
Everyone wants great, high-quality sound from their smartphone while playing and enjoying the sound of music coming from their devices. Usually people want a sound that has a deep bass, a clear treble, a rich middle range, a sound quality that is audible enough, sound quality that does not deteriorate when you crank up the volume, and you certainly don’t want smoke to come out of the speakers!)
However, not all smartphones have the speaker quality or volume levels like the Boom J8, Boom J7 and Boom J5 to deliver all these features due to some certain factors like poor speaker placement and low quality speakers etc.

The best tips to help you improve sound quality and increase volume on yourAndroid phone.

1. Check your phone settings for sound enhancement option
Most smartphone comes with built-in sound enhancement option that could optimize your Android audio experience when activated, adding better sound quality or effects to your phone.
For HTC phones just toggle BoomSound under phone settings, sometimes it’s beat audio for M series.
Xperia devices allows you use the ClearAudio setting and has an equalizer. You can also get to it through the settings.
Then for Samsung devices, you need to plug in whichever audio device you want to use (if you’re using one). Then, hop into your Settings and tap Sound. From there hit Audio settings. You should have a series of options to enhance your audio experience.
2. Download a better music player app
If your device did not have the built-in sound enhancement settings, then you now have the option of replacing the stock music player app with one that includes more audio control. We recommend Poweramp n7player, andEqualizer+. They are jam-packed with audio tweaks, presets, bass boost and many more options.
These apps are free but you’ll have to pay a couple of bucks to access all or it’s pro features but once you do you’ll never look back.
3. Get an EQ app(equalizer)
The default audio controls (equalizer) on most phones, include a basic EQ that only works with the default music app and provides no control over audio not played through the music player.
So, to fix this hit the Play Store and get yourself a decent EQ. These are two best EQ app to download Music Volume EQ and Bass Booster

4. Use quality headphones
The simple fact is that most smartphone speakers are simply not good enough to get decent sound quality out of, even with all these music app or EQ. This is where a decent pair of headphones can help (some audio settings in your phone won’t even work without headphones plugged in).
So it’s time for you to get yourself a quality headphones not just any type but brand and see how much of a difference a serious set of headphones can make to your smartphone audio.
5. Boost your speaker volume
There are phones that generally have low speaker volume that after reaching their max volume, it still can’t be loud enough. If you are rooted, there are plenty of app options out there that can bypass the max volume of the Android system with a few simple tweaks. Check out our post on how to root any Android for more details.
6. Using AudioFX (Root Required)
AudioFX, has been on Android for quite sometime, but due to licensing issues, it has been exclusive to only a few manufacturers. But exclusivity is never permanent in the Android world, and thanks to the xda dev sorlaz, we now have a functioning port that can run on both KitKat and Lollipop.
To install AudioFX, you’ll need to download the appropriate ZIP for your device from above, then flash it through your custom recovery. After doing so, you’ll see an AudioFX app in the app drawer. You’ll notice the same equalizer settings that are available in all of our previous apps, but at the bottom are a few extra settings.
MaxxBass and MaxxTreble are self explanatory, so you can adjust those levels to your liking. However, MaxxSpace, which is only available through headphones, Bluetooth, and USB, adds a surround sound effect to your audio which can give you the feeling of listening to a live performance. To disable MaxxAudio, all you have to do is set the slider on the top of the app to Off.
7. Check if your case is blocking a speaker
At times we are the cause of the poor audio quality, because we normally buy protective case or cover, that block the speakers there by affecting the quality of the sound you get from the speakers. All those vibrations coming from inside your phone will be muffled by the additional layer of plastic or rubber that the manufacturer won’t have taken into account when designing its speaker system.
Not all case makers understand the subtleties of your device. Some cases block essential parts of the phone like the audio jack, microphone or speaker. Before you buy a case be sure that you check to see that it won’t block anything.
That’s all on how to improve the sound quality of your smartphone. I hope you like the post? Please help us share it on your social networks and you can also comment below if you have any question on the above tips.

Restore Whatsapp Messages/chats on any phone - 2016

Restore Whatsapp Messages/chats on any phone - 2016

If you install a fresh WhatsApp on your phone but noticed that all the sweet chats or messages you had with that babe or dude are all gone? I’m sure you would want to hit your head on the wall. But hey, don’t do that as this post hopes to guide you through the process of restoring all your WhatsApp messages on various smartphones and operating system.

Use the links below to download Gbwhatsapp

Most Android smartphone come with an SD card so this should be very simple to do. Open the app then tap the Menu icon then go to Settings>Chats and calls > Backup Chats. This will now create a backup on your SD card, which you can then swap into your new handset. Reinstall WhatsApp on your replacement device (with the

SD card inserted) and the app should spot your backup and automatically restore the chat history.

For your messages to remain intact even when you change your phone you must have kept them somewhere previous, perhaps by running a backup. On the iPhone there are different ways to run a backup , but the easiest is by using iCloud backup. To do this you’ll need to take your old handset and go to WhatsApp Settings> Chats> Chat Backup and then tap Backup Now.

So when the need to restore your messages arise, just turn on your new handset, reinstall WhatsApp, confirm your phone number (which has to be the same as the one used on your old phone) and you will be prompted to restore your chat history. Agree to this and your backup should be installed.

To prevent future losses it’s advisable to go back to settings and enable the Auto Backup feature now, so you’ll be good to go next time.

Just in case you are not too fortunate to have a device with SD card, don’t cry as you can still restore your conversations but you need a PC to do so or maybe a “File Manager” that can send a complete folder via Bluetooth or Xenda. The simple idea is to move the WhatsApp folder from your old phone to the new one and nothing more.

So, Attach the USB charging cord to the phone and then plug the other end into your PC. Windows should automatically install any

drivers you need, and then you can find the phone in the This PC section of File Explorer. Now look through the phone storage until you find the WhatsApp folder, then copy it onto your PC hard drive. Eject the phone, then connect your new handset and move the WhatsApp folder onto its internal storage. Eject the phone, reinstall WhatsApp, and when you confirm your number the backup should be recognized and you can restore it. With this done you should now have all your past conversations on your new Android phone.

How to Transfer All Your Files From Your Old Phone to Your New Phone

When you buy a new phone, next is getting to move all your files from your old phone to the new one. But moving to a new phone can be a pain, it consumes time, and most times frustrating. But with the right steps, some third-party apps, and perseverance, you should be able to overcome most of the misery that usually comes with prepping for a new device. Sure, it takes a little work, but what you’ll learn here will be very useful if you find yourself in such situation.

Transferring your stuff from your old phone to your new phone

Remember it’s always advisable keeping all your data backed up in case of any catastrophe hitting your phone.

How to transfer your stuff / files from the old phone onto a new one

A. Transferring your contacts
Your contacts are probably among the most important to you. Luckily the days of having to write them all down and then manually enter them in the new phone are long gone. Here are the best alternatives.
Transferring your contacts: Via SD card/Phone storage
Transferring Via SD card is pretty much easier if both your old and new phone have SD card slots, you can transfer contacts using a microSD card. Just open the contacts section >> menu >> manage contacts >> import/export contacts. Then on your old phone hit the import/export button. Then select export to storage or something along those lines.
After exporting, next is to remove and insert the SD card into the new phone, go to the address book and find import on the menu and follow the instructions from there to successfully import or transfer your contacts.

Transferring your stuff from your old phone to your new phone

Transferring contacts Via internal phone storage  method is almost the same as above, except instead of selecting microSD card as your export destination, you choose your internal memory. It’s a long process as it requires you to create a Vfc/VCard file before you can be able to export your contacts. So I prefer the Via SD Card method very straight forward!
▪Transferring your contacts: Via SIM card
This is an old fashioned method for transferring contacts – essentially copying all the relevant contacts to the SIM and then carrying them over.
The advantage of this is you can manually select which ones to take with you, but the downside is that most SIMs are limited to about 200 contacts.
Further, there’s the potential that your new phone won’t support the same size SIM card as your previous device. Most phones comes with either Micro or Macro SIM cards. – so this one’s probably a last resort.
B. Moving your old text messages
If you are still attached to your old text messages or got an important text messages you would want to keep, the best way to move them onto your new phone is by downloading SMS Backup and Restore, a free app that does exactly what you’d expect it to.
The messages are stored in .XML  format and can then be sent to your new smartphone over Bluetooth, or by email after backup from the old phone. You’ll also need to install the app on your new phone in order to restore your mess
Transferring your stuff from your old phone to your new phone

C. Transferring your media files (photos, musics, and videos)
You can transfer individual media files or albums from phone to phone via Bluetooth or using xender file transfer app. But if you have a large number of media files especially very high resolution images, HD songs and movies, then this will take a long time.
So, for faster transfer you should use a PC. Just connect the old phone to the PC with a USB cable, then copy the images folder, musics and videos folder onto the desktop and reverse the process for the new phone by pasting the folders back to the new phone.
D. Transferring apps and their data
Whenever you log in to your new phone with your Google account, all the apps you’ve already downloaded should appear automatically – although in Android 5.0 Lollipop you’ll be asked which ones you want to keep.
However, if you want the data to come across too (stuff like saved games, personalized settings and data, etc) then you’re best off using one of the apps listed below.
▪Restoring app data on your phone
If your using Android phone and its rooted then there is no better backup solution than Titanium Backup. Titanium Backup lets you back up absolutely everything on your phone. The complete backup can be restored at any time.
Backups can be performed without even closing the apps you’re currently using and they can be saved as flashable zips and you can install to your new phone via TWRP or CWM.
That’s all! Your phone should now be completely set up and feeling a little like the old one. Except faster and shinier and better looking. I hope you find the post useful and if you think we missed something out, let us know in the comments. The Actual Difference(s) Between The Camon C9 and C7 with photos

When I first saw the Camon C7, I thought that the only difference lay in the different boxing colour, the size of the screen and of course, the number of processors.
The Actual Difference(s) Between The Camon C9 and C7

Turns out I was wrong. I will be sharing with us some of the notable differences between the Camon C9, and its sister; the Camon C7.

I’ll begin with the basics.

While the C9 spots a black solid carton with blue markings and a blue box containing the phone/accessories, the Camon C7 spots a silver carton with blue markings and a blue box that houses the device and its accessories.

Check out the camon c9 Pro specs with images

The accessories for Camon C7 comes in different black boxes while that of the C9 had most of its accessories fixed into custom compartments that are built in such a way to take the shape of the charger, USB cord and earpiece.

The Actual Difference(s) Between The Camon C9 and C7

The Camon C7 battery has a 2,500mAh capacity and is detachable as seen in the picture below. That of Camon C9 is 3,000mAh and non-detachable. The C7 also has fast charging capabilities.

Also, the pouch of C9 is designed in such a way that you can flip it or position it in such a way that you don't need to hold the phone to carry out basic tasks or watch a movie. But the pouch of C7 doesn't have that feature, though the back looks very solid and kinda makes up for the plastic back cover of the phone itself.

The Actual Difference(s) Between The Camon C9 and C7

Unlike the Camon C9 which has two micro sim card slots, its Sister, the Camon C7 has one Macro Sim slot and one Micro Sim Slot. Now while this will not make sense to some people. It makes sense to me because I have a CUG simcard which I am not allowed to cut, so seeing that the C7 comes with a macro sim slot is a big relief because I don’t have to carry an extra phone about since both my sim cards can fit in comfortably. The image below should give you an idea of what I’m on about.
The Actual Difference(s) Between The Camon C9 and C7

On the C9, the Smart Cover shows only the time, but on the C7, the Smart Cover shows you both time, day and date, in addition to the music and torch light shortcut which can be accessed through the Smart Cover.

The Actual Difference(s) Between The Camon C9 and C7

While the C9 has 8 processors (Octa Core) accompanying the chipset, C7 has 4 processors (Quad Core 1.3GHz).

here's an additional Rose Gold colour that accompanied the C7. Camon C9 comes with three colours (Elegant blue, Sandstone Black, and Champagne Gold, while the C7 comes with four colours (Elegant blue, Sandstone black, Champagne Gold and Rose Gold).

The Camon C7 does not have 4G connectivity, however, the 3G is fast. My hotspot is on now and that’s what I’m using to surf.

The C7 spots a 5 inch screen size. Some people are saying they prefer smaller screens. For me, 5.5 inches as seen on the C9 is cumbersome, maybe it’s because I’m a lady sha.

While the C9 goes for 50,000; its Sister, the C7, goes for 39,000.

Please note that what I have done here is not a full review, instead, I have highlighted the major differences between the C9 and C7 for those who might be interested in either of the devices, and for those who seek to be better informed.

This is not an exhaustive list, if you’ve spotted other differences on your device, feel free to share here too.

Reasons why you must use an original phone charger

As you all know, phone warranties do not cover accessories such as earphones, USB cables, covers and batteries. This is because the mode of use by the purchaser can destroy them. Today, let me tell you about your most important accessory: the charger, plus why you must always use the original [Branded] charger.

But, first, let me tell you that there are already tens of cases of people who have been burned, hurt, and killed by phone chargers. Cases of house fires started by the same are also on the increase.

The following information will save your health, life, house and phone:

reasons to use original phone charger

Charger/Battery Power Rating

If you ever used a charger that takes too long to fill your battery or one that charges very fast, you might be using the wrong charger. This might spoil your battery, burn the charger or overheat and cause a fire.

When you buy a charger, check that it is rated exactly or slightly above the Voltage of your battery. In short, if your battery is rated 4.0 volts, find a charger that is rated 4V or 4.2V.
Secondly, check the output Amperage (mA). If your cell is rated 1,000mA, use a charger that is exact or above that rating. If you use one that is 900mA, the battery will only fill up to the 900mA and stop. That leads to overheating, slow charging and device failure.
Finally, check the recommended output (Volts). If say, your country’s household voltage is 100-240Volts, buy a charger that is rated WITHIN this range. If you buy a charger with a rating of 50-200Volts, it will burn up immediately you plug it in.

To save you this stress, just purchase an original charger!

USB charge vs. Wall charge
As you have seen with modern chargers, they come combined with a USB and charger. At times, you may lose the cable and have to borrow one. When you do, you might realize that your phone charges slowly and also discharges very fast.
The problem is that we have USB 1.0, USB 2.0 and now USB 3.0 cables. The 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 cables utilize 500mA, 900mA and 1500mA respectively. Therefore, if your cable was USB 3.0 and you start using a 2.0, then you will have to charge longer and your phone might never get charged fully. Similarly, if you had a 1.0 and start using the 3.0, you risk spoiling your battery by exceeding its rating.

To save you this stress, just purchase an original charger!!

When you buy a Tecno charger, just know that is usually tested and certified by bodies such as MFI, RHOS and CE. Check and see. Your Tecno charger is branded with CE on one side.
If you buy an uncertified charger, you risk having loose wires, poor quality components, no fuse, no regulator, poor transformer plus many other dangerous faults. These can cause your battery to spoil, burn or explode. They can even damage your phone! However, when you purchase an original charger, you are rest assured that the quality is right and you live in no danger.

To save you this stress, just purchase an original charger!!!
To be safe:
  • Use the original charger that you bought with your gadget.
  • If it spoils or get lost, buy an original one from a branded seller.
  • Check your cell ratings before borrowing a charger from someone.
  • Carry your USB/charger whenever you can. That is what works best for your cellphone.
  • Realize that cheap chargers mean they are missing something like certification. Do not buy cheap, unbranded chargers!
  • If you purchase an unoriginal charger, make sure all its rating match those of your original charger.

Bonus Tip:
Some people say that if you charge your phone too long after it hits 100%, it will spoil. The truth is that it cannot spoil it! Our modern phones are so intelligent that they stop taking power when they get fully charged.
As such, there is no harm. However, your charger’s life might reduce since it remains plugged in and all its components are working.
Therefore, be a good owner: Unplug your charger from the power socket when it’s not in use. That guy wants to rest as well, OK?

How to capture amazing pictures with the Tecno camon C9

Since the Camon Series is aimed at providing unmatched camera experience, I thought it would only be fair if I shared tips which can make you a better photographer and enable you to take beautiful high quality photos.
today I would like to talk about the Autofocus on the camon C9

in my earlier post i stated that the camon C9 has a 0.1 high speed Auto focus which identifies the closest object on its vicinity .however, manual focus/ touch to focus is very useful and can produce great photos

To apply manual focus you simply touch the subject on the screen/viewfinder as shown below.

note how the fruit has been precisely focused and the background blurred

How to capture amazing pictures with the Tecno camon C9

Here are five Instances when Manual focus/Touch to focus is better than the Autofocus.

1.Macro photography

Macro photography refers to extreme close-up photography, usually of very small subjects when taking close up pictures its advisable to use the touch to focus this enables you to focus on the part that you want and it can also blur the background

Here is an example of a macro shot Notice how the camera focused on the red leaf and blurred the background
Shooting images with the tecno camon c9

2.shooting through a wire mesh

when shooting through a wire mesh its very difficult to get a clear shot since the wire will obstruct the object but when you use Touch to focus the wire is blurred and now focus shifts to the object.
this comes in handy when taking photos of animals in an orphanage

3. Low-light

In order to achieve sharp high quality photos in a dimly lit environment you have to use manual focus since it becomes difficult for camera lenses to focus on a dark environment

4.Motion photography

they are also known as Action photography this is where the object you want to capture is not in a static position but rather its moving or in motion for instance when you want to capture a high speed moving safari rally car touch to focus would produce a more accurate and precise photo.

5. portraits

A portrait is simply a photograph which the face and its expression is predominant,
when shooting portraits focus needs to precise and there is no better way of achieving this than using "touch to focus"

Note how focus was shifted from the face to the hands
